Terms of use

Cue is practice. It helps you get ready for an interview; it cannot promise you a job. Use it honestly, and we will treat you and your data fairly.

Who these terms are between

You, and Krishna Thorat, the individual in India who runs Cue at hire.rest. By using Cue you agree to this page and to the Privacy page.

Who can use Cue

You must be 18 or older. Use your own name and only your own Google account.

What Cue is

• An AI interviewer asks you questions out loud, listens to your answers, and writes a report.
• The interviewer, the scores and the tips are produced by AI. They can be wrong, and they are one opinion, not a verdict on you.
• A good score on Cue is not a job offer, a certificate or a promise that a real interview will go the same way.
• If a company invited you, that company decides what happens next. Cue only runs the interview and hands over the report.

What we ask of you

• Take the interview yourself. Don’t have someone else answer for you or feed you answers in an invited interview.
• Don’t share other people’s private information in your answers.
• Don’t try to break Cue, overload it, get around its limits, or copy it wholesale.
• A question you add to the shared question list must be one you are free to share. Others will be asked it.

If someone does these things we may end their interview or close their account.

Paying

• Every day, one interview is free, with the full report on screen. We may change that number, and we may pause free interviews on a day when Cue is very busy.
• More interviews come in packs. The price, in Indian rupees, is shown before you pay. Interviews in a pack never expire, are used only after the day’s free interview, and belong to the account that bought them.
• Buying any pack also unlocks the paid extras for that account: the report as a PDF, the revision view across interviews, questions from your résumé once that exists, and reports kept for a year instead of a month. If we change what a pack includes, packs already bought keep what they came with.
• Payment goes through Cashfree Payments. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on their page and never reach us. We keep the amount, the date, the pack and their reference for the payment.
• Paid or free, it is the same interview and the same report.
• If an interview fails or a payment goes wrong, the Refunds page says what you get back.

When things break

Cue depends on your connection, your device, and services run by others, so an interview can fail. We fix faults as quickly as we can, and a paid interview that failed on our side is covered by the refund policy. Beyond that, Cue is provided as it is: to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as a missed opportunity, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the problem.

Your content, and ours

Your answers and your report are yours. You let us process them to run Cue, as the Privacy page describes. The Cue name, design and software belong to us.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account from My interviews. We may stop offering Cue, or part of it; if you have paid interviews left when that happens, you get the money for them back.

Law and disputes

These terms are under the laws of India. Write to support@hire.rest first; most problems end there. If one does not, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date below changes. Carrying on using Cue after that means you accept the new terms.
