A phone or laptop with a microphone, earphones if you have them, and a quiet spot. A camera is optional for practice. Use Chrome, Safari or Edge. If you opened Cue inside Instagram, LinkedIn or another app, open it in Chrome instead, because Google sign-in often doesn't work there.

So your reports stay in one place and only you can open them, and so everyone gets their own free interview each day. Cue uses Google sign-in and never sees your password. You need to be 18 or older.

Any job you name, at your level: software developer, data analyst, bank PO, customer support, management trainee and more. You can also paste a job post. Choose "HR round" to practice the personal round that almost every interview has.

Yes. Try one question: hear it in the interviewer's voice, answer out loud, and get the note a real report would give you.

It's a video call with an AI interviewer. It asks five questions for your job, one at a time, listens to your answer and asks follow-ups on what you actually said. It takes about 10 minutes. Silence is fine: it waits while you think.

No. The interviewer is an AI with an Indian English voice. No person watches or listens live; the checks during the interview are automatic.

You can rejoin within three minutes and carry on. If it can't continue, you can finish and read the report for the questions you answered. If Cue can't get your interview ready, it doesn't count as your free one.

Yes. End the interview whenever you like, and your report covers the questions you answered.

Marks and a note for every answer, your own answer told well, how you sounded (pace and filler words), camera tips if you used your camera, and the one thing to fix next.

Each answer gets a mark out of 10 and a note on what worked and what to fix. Your total is out of 100, from the questions you answered: 75 and above is Strong, 50 to 74 is Developing, and below 50 is Needs work. How you sounded and the camera tips are shown separately and never change your marks.

No. A practice report opens only for your account. The share picture is the one thing you can choose to post, and it shows only your first name, the job and your marks.

No. Cue is practice and coaching, not a hiring decision. Your report tells you what to work on before the real interview.

A practice interview is never recorded as video. Your answers become text for your report. The sound is used once for pace and filler words, then deleted. Some still pictures from your camera are looked at once by AI for the camera tips, then thrown away.

Google's Gemini models run the interviewer and write your report, on Cue's paid Google account, which Google does not use to train its models. Quick checks on the text (is the answer on the question, is the feedback fair) go to TypeSafe's Jev model through Cloudflare, which gets only that text. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Open a report and choose "Delete my data", or delete your whole account from My interviews. Reports are also deleted by themselves after 30 days, or after a year if you've bought a pack.

Yes. If a paid interview fails because of a fault on Cue's side, you choose the interview back or your money back. If you bought a pack by mistake and haven't used any of it, the whole amount comes back. Either way, write to support@hire.rest within 7 days.

Yes, as an early pilot. Set the questions once, send each student a private link, and read every report in one place. For now it runs on your own Google Gemini key.
