Your first interview is free, with the full report on screen and a retry of one answer. No card needed. After that you buy interviews: ₹79 for one, ₹349 for five, or ₹649 for a Placement pass of 10. Nothing renews.

One interview (₹79) and five (₹349) can be used any time within 6 months. The Placement pass gives 10 interviews (₹649) to use within 30 days, up to 3 a day, for the weeks before placements. Each is paid for once and nothing renews. Every interview comes with one retry of an answer.

Sign in, open your account page, and tap "Have a code from your college?". Each code works once and gives interviews to use before the date on the code.

A phone or laptop with a microphone, earphones if you have them, and a quiet spot. A camera is optional for practice. Use Chrome, Safari or Edge. If you opened Cue inside Instagram, LinkedIn or another app, open it in Chrome instead, because Google sign-in often doesn't work there.

So your reports stay in one place and only you can open them, and so everyone gets their own free first interview. Cue uses Google sign-in and never sees your password. You need to be 18 or older.

Any job you name, at your level: software developer, data analyst, bank PO, customer support, management trainee and more. You can also paste a job post. Choose "HR round" to practice the personal round that almost every interview has.

Yes. Try one question: hear it in the interviewer's voice, answer out loud, and get the note a real report would give you.

It's a video call with an AI interviewer. It asks five questions for your job, one at a time, listens to your answer and asks follow-ups on what you actually said. It takes about 10 minutes, and never more than 20. Silence is fine: it waits while you think.

Yes, if you pick "Coach me" when you set up. The interviewer asks three questions, and after each answer it tells you your mark out of 10 and what to fix, out loud, with the points on screen. You go again until the answer reaches 7, three tries at most. It uses one bought interview (your free one is a real interview), and the report shows every try. Pick "Real interview" when you want a true test with no help.

No. The interviewer is an AI with an Indian English voice. No person watches or listens live; the checks during the interview are automatic.

Not yet. Interviews are in English for now.

Allow the microphone when your browser asks. If you said no, tap the icon at the left of the address bar (a lock or sliders), allow the microphone, then reload the page. Close calls or voice apps (Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp) that may be using the mic, and check your earphones' mic isn't muted.

You can rejoin within three minutes and carry on. If it can't continue, you can finish and read the report for the questions you answered. If Cue can't get your interview ready, it doesn't count.

Yes. Every question in your report has "Try this answer again": you face the interviewer on that one question, answer again, and see both attempts side by side. Every interview you finish comes with one retry, which you can also spend on a quick practice (Explain your project, Tell me about yourself).

Yes. End the interview whenever you like, and your report covers the questions you answered.

Marks and a note for every answer, a stronger version of your own answer to fill in, how you sounded (pace and filler words), and, if you used your camera, camera notes on your answers and your setup. Then the one thing to fix next.

Each answer gets a mark out of 10 and a note on what worked and what to fix. Your total is out of 100, from the questions you answered: 75 and above is Strong, 50 to 74 is Developing, and below 50 is Needs work. How you sounded and the camera tips are shown separately and never change your marks.

No. A practice report opens only for your account. The share picture is the one thing you can choose to post, and it shows only your first name, the job and your marks.

No. Cue is practice and coaching, not a hiring decision. Your report tells you what to work on before the real interview.

A practice interview is never recorded as video. Your answers become text for your report. The sound is used once for pace and filler words, then deleted. Some still pictures from your camera are looked at once by AI for the camera tips, then thrown away.

Google's Gemini models run the interviewer and write your report, on Cue's paid Google account, which Google does not use to train its models. Quick checks on the text (is the answer on the question, is the feedback fair) go to TypeSafe's Jev model through Cloudflare, which gets only that text. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Open a report and choose "Delete my data", or delete your whole account from My interviews. Reports are also deleted by themselves after 30 days, or after a year if you've bought interviews.

Most payments show at once. Some take up to half an hour while Razorpay confirms them, so open My interviews again in a little while. Still nothing after an hour? Ask us, with the payment reference from Razorpay's email or SMS.

Yes. If a paid interview fails because of a fault on Cue's side, you choose the interview back or your money back. If you bought interviews by mistake and haven't used any of them, the whole amount comes back. Either way, write to support@hire.rest within 7 days. Unused interviews aren't refunded otherwise, but they last 6 months (the Placement pass: 30 days).

Yes. A college buys interviews at ₹65 each, 100 or more, online or against an invoice, and hands them out to its students from its own college dashboard. Students join with the college's link, and the college sees who has practiced; marks only for students who agree.
