Refunds and cancellation
If a paid interview fails because of a fault on Cue's side, you choose: the interview back, or your money back. Write to us within 7 days.
How paying works
Every day, one interview isfree. If you want more, you buy a pack of interviews. A pack is paid for once, the interviews never expire, they are used only after the day’s free interview, and any pack unlocks the paid extras (the PDF, the revision view, longer-kept reports). There is no subscription and nothing renews by itself.
When you get a refund
- The interviewer never started, or stopped and could not be rejoined, because of a fault on our side.
- The interview finished but your report never arrived.
- You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.
- You bought a pack by mistake: if none of its interviews has been used, ask within 7 days and the whole amount comes back.
For a failed interview you choose between the interview being added back to your account and the money for that interview being returned.
When you don’t
- The interview ran and you got your report, but you did not like the marks or the questions.
- You ended the interview early yourself.
- Interviews from a pack that you have already used, in full or in part, are not refunded.
- The problem was on your side, such as no internet, a blocked camera or microphone, or a device that could not run it. We still want to hear about it, and we often add the interview back anyway.
How to ask
Write to support@hire.rest within 7 days of the interview or the payment, from the email you used on Cue. Say what happened and roughly when; the order id from your packs page helps. You will get an answer within 3 working days.
How the money comes back
To the same card, UPI ID or account you paid from, through Cashfree Payments, the company that handled the payment. It usually arrives within 5 to 7 working days of our saying yes; your bank decides the exact day.
Cancelling
There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel. If you delete your account, any unused paid interviews are lost with it, so ask for a refund first if you want one.
